Résumé
The kingdom of Ebrerath has designed a unique system to protect individuals: other individuals with astonishing abilities, answering to the title of guard. Divided into factions according to their master, they dedicate their own lives to theirs.
Silver Slayer is the most powerful guard in Ebrerath, tasked with protecting Mirai Rochefelon, the king's descendant. Madly in love with her, he cannot, however, confess his feelings : if they were to become known, he would be condemned to exile.
One day, believing there was an intrusion, he surprises Mirai in the middle of training.
It is then that she confides in him, and makes a surprising request: she too wants to become a guard.
But in a world where anyone can play with magic and the dead, what is there to protect first ?

The first draft was originally available on Wattpad in french, and I posted chapters from time to time, but I unpublished it before it was finished for one simple reason: it stinks of poo.
Not wanting to abandon the project that hosts many of my oc's, I decided to post the prologue to the rewrite to see if it will attract a little more attention, and if so, I'll write and publish the rest of the chapters.)
